Bel-Air’s episode 6 is titled The Strength to Smile, and it is pretty emotional, not just as the plot for the show, but for us at artdey. In this episode, the family supports Lisa (played by Simone Joy Jones) by hosting a fundraiser in memory of her mother. Aunt Viv puts several lovely paintings up for display.
Quick backstory, when we started operations, we sent out marketing communications to set and interior decorators worldwide. We got some lovely responses back but launching an art e-commerce site during a global pandemic is not for the faint of heart.
Months later, a little more persistence paid off. We got to work with the lovely Kirsten Peterson to source paintings for the set of acclaimed new hit Bel-Air created by Morgan Cooper, the reboot of the beloved Fresh Prince of Bel-Air executive produced by Will Smith!
